With the weather as beautiful as it is today there was only one-thing to do ........ Yup put the TV outside and watch the Wimbledon Final!

Andy R has just taken the first set .... Good Boy ..... should I turn off the TV now and give the young man a fighting chance of winning?

Green Leaves

Green Leaves Cocktail.

Quantities for one drink:

3/4 oz Peppermint Syrup

2 - 3 Mint Leaves

5 oz Tonic Water

Blending Instructions:

Place mint leaves into a large highball glass, and pour in peppermint syrup.

Press with a barspoon.

Add a scoop of crushed ice, fill with tonic water, and stir.

Serve

It was a brilliant game and Andy M showcased things to come. The boy is only young and has come a long way in a short time.

Andy R was generous in his praise of his opponent. The poor boy almost looked like he was embarrassed that he won.

I'll be rootin' for Andy R on Sunday! God help Him!

Now ..... I wouldn't be a true Brit if I didn't have one eye on Wimbledon at this moment! However due to Cloggy's outstanding DIY skills the Satellite receiver for the TV in the living room refuses to work during thunderstorms. Just as Murray's game was about to begin the 'Mother of all Thunderstoms' kicked off right above our house! Damn it!

Luckily Middle Baby Cloggy suggested we brought the little TV and its digibox (which is not reliant on Cloggys satellite positioning skills) down from the play room into the kitchen.

So ..... here we all are watching Wimbledon in the kitchen and bugger it Andy R has just broken Andy M's service!!!!!!!!!!!

Perhaps it wasn't such a good idea after all, I mean every time I watch a sporting event the team or person I am rootin' for looses.

Should I turn off the TV now?
